Over 230 teams participated today in the second Triahtlon Challenge in Rapperswil-Jona. In the categorie of the firms team Rappi-Jona Rüti Spiders defended their last years title of the fittest company in Europe in 4:27.23. The mens category won the ewzpowerteam starkstrom in 4:08.47. In the ladies category team Swiss Seniors won in 5:01.44 and left all their competitors behind. The fastest team of the Triathlon Challenge was a mixed team called Höfliger-Bike-Sport-Rapperswil, which finished total distance of 70.3 miles in 4:07.55. The couples category won the team Privilège Events in 4:31.39.
In fantastic weather conditions 35,000 spectators supported the athletes along the swim, bike and run course.
